Do you mean the painting “Sleep” from 1800? I believe it’s in the National Gallery of Ireland.

I have a print of Clematis bought in Liverpool in the 80s. It is signed Norman Hirst. I knew it was Herkomer-like but I see they collaborated. Is it a Herkomer work then engraved by Hirst? What was Hirst`s role? I'd love to know more! Thanks. Jacqui asked by Anonymous

Interesting.Thanks for your question! I’m familiar with the “herkomergravure” and mezzotint techniques, but I’m not sure which role Hirst had in this process. Check out this blog - maybe she can help you? I hope you’ll find out more.
